Just like other popular brands, GIGABYTE and its gaming division AORUS have their own range of Z890 motherboards ready to launch globally to serve the brand-new Intel Core Ultra 200S series desktop processors.
The Z890 series incorporates GIGABYTE’s D5 Bionic Corsa technology, pushing DDR5 memory overclocking to DDR5 XMP 9500 and beyond. This innovation is powered by AI-enhanced overclocking technology, with four key components driving performance from the software, hardware, and firmware sides. The AORUS AI SNATCH is the 1-click OC wizard here while the AI-driven PCB design delivers enhanced signal quality. Meanwhile, the Hypertune BIOS also uses AI to optimize MRC and overall signals for peak efficiency and strengthens the overall performance.
Aside from the continuous presence of user-friendly and fast assembly features like WIFI EZ-Plug and EZ-Debug Zone alongside the same thing for PCIe slots and M.2 SSD slots, GIGABYTE also took the chance to update the OC BIOS once again and now includes the new AI PerfDrive that recommends performance profiles based on real-time system data. The BIOS also includes a customizable interface and new features like AIO Fan Control, designed for users who need to adjust fan speeds directly from the BIOS. Integration with HWiNFO further enhances system monitoring, displaying detailed performance metrics without additional software.
These top-tier motherboards also pack a punch with up to 21 power phases and 110A SPS for robust power delivery. GIGABYTE’s proprietary NPU Overdrive boosts AI performance by 23%, providing a significant edge in real-world applications. The series also features a sophisticated cooling system, including the DDR Wind Blade and vented back panels, designed to keep components cool under intense loads.
And to round it off, stuff like PCIe 5.0 and Thunderbolt 4 is just the bread and butter because you better look at the AI TOP series led by the Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP, which brings high-end features such as dual graphics card support, dual 10GbE LAN, and dual Thunderbolt 5.
