The Smart Factory and Automation Expo event will be happening from March 12 to 14 over at the COEX venue in South Korea.
Running under the theme of “Automation to Autonomy”, this year’s iteration is said to be the biggest with more than 400 exhibitors and 2,200 booths to welcome approximately 70,000 attendees to witness the various showcase of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and solutions, including factory automation, big data, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and industrial robots.
Specifically, the smart logistics solutions and autonomous vehicles (AVs) will be graced by the presence of Hyundai AutoEver and Hyndai Glovis who are the key suppliers of Hyundai Motor Group.
Overall, more than 25 manufacturing seminars hosting 150 sessions including AI Autonomous Manufacturing Conference, the Korea-China-Vietnam Robot Convergence Technology Conference, and IIoT Innovation Day are ready to provide deeper industry insights.
For a more immersive experience, attendees can participate in the “AW Booth Docent Tour”, where experts will provide in-depth explanations on-site. Meanwhile, the newly introduced “AW Open Innovation Round” aims to foster business collaboration between pioneering startups and mid-to-large-scale investors.
Lee Dong-gi, President of COEX, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “AW 2025 is truly the one time of year where everyone who’s anyone in the world of digital manufacturing comes together under one roof. We hope this show serves as a prime opportunity for both exhibitors and buyers to drive digital transformation in manufacturing.”
