ASUS IoT has released a couple of new products for the professional industrial scene through the new Tinker series duo.

ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3 and Tinker System N3

One of them is the Tinker System 3N which is the left one armed with a 4-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor + Arm Mali-G52 GPU hosted within a strong and durable 0.679L chassis that meets the US MIL-STD‑810H military-grade standards for shock and vibration resistance thanks to the extruded aluminum material that also allowing it to run from -40 to 60°C.

It also can support various power input in the range of 12V to 24V with over-voltage, over-current, electrostatic discharge, and reverse-current protection too. The I/O interface is customizable and expandable to suit different needs from the get-go including smart factories, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and outdoor kiosks. Want to run some simple AI? It can do that too as it has an NPU within it.

As for the Tinker Board 3 on the right, it comes with the same Arm-based processor and GPU as the former. You may also find comprehensive software suite such as OTA updates and advanced control options. One with the right skills can also delve into developing some features through its SDK integration.

Since it also has an NPU for AI tasks such as object detection, speech recognition, and facial recognition, it can be used for smart retail and healthcare industries as well as digital signage, self-service kiosks, and medical devices.

Notable features also include GPIO API integration for streamlined development, power scheduling for energy efficiency, and USB power management for durability.
