Today at the Level Up Play expo, Acer Malaysia has taken up a big booth to announce several new products for the local market alongside some early info for next year’s Predator League 2025 esport festival.
First, we have the Predator Orion X PC system that offers ultimate gaming performance within its compact 15.4L chassis. With up to an Intel Core i7-14700F + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, it is ready to tackle both 4K gaming and competitive multiplayer titles with loads of FPS for your high refresh rate monitor. Memory-wise, you can do up to 32GB DDR5 RAM at purchase (support up to 64GB) as well as a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The case is also specially designed to be DIY-friendly as no tools are required to access the inner parts which you can upgrade or maintain as fitted. The system is also equipped with Predator Frostblade 3.0 patented fan design that offers the brand’s strongest airflow with minimum vibration and noise.
For the price, the RM10,999 will net you the Intel Core i5 version while RM12,999 comes with a Core i7 respectively (GPU unchanged). The free gifts will include a Predator gaming chair for the expensive model while the cheaper version comes with a headset and large desk mat.
We also have several monitors here starting with the Predator X49 V featuring a DQHD 5440 x 1440 resolution for that superior horizontal screen estate coverage. Aside from VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and 99% DCI-P3 10-bit color gamut (Yes this is an OLED panel), the 144Hz + 0.03ms combo is hard to resist for a monitor of this caliber too.
Notable features include a KVM switch for the multi-setup gang and PIP/PBP for some split-screen action.
Meanwhile, we have the new “3rd gen” Predator XB3 series equipped with an even better Agile-Splendor IPS offering better image quality, refresh rate, and response time. The XB323QU M3 and XB273U V3 runs at 2560×1440 with 180Hz and 0.5ms so this is just size preference at this point.
They also have AMD FreeSync Premium, 95% DCI-P3 color gamut with Delta E<1 color accuracy.

It also has motion sensor to power some of the quirkiest games out there while the dual vibration motors gives potent feedbacks to the user. The switches can also last up to 3M clicks.
On the other hand, the Acer Nitro is the one getting the “cheaper version” here with no hall effects and stuff. The good point is it is way cheaper than the Predator model while supporting BT and USB-C connection with loads of battery power in addition to that Turbo button for auto firing.
The prices are going to be RM399 for the Predator controller and RM129 for the Nitro model respectively.
